Monochrome multi-materials assemblages (M3A). Fabricated wood frames, golf tees, adhesives, paint. 5.5 x 5.5 x 2.75 in. each.

Puddles is named in reference to Günther Eucker's (b. 1930) larger piece, Vast Ocean (1964) which I saw at the Art Institute of Chicago in May 2008. That and other works by Uecker inspired me to use more nails, screws, dowels, and golf tees in my work. Fields of golf tees in particular exhibit some interesting optical effects, depending upon the viewing angle and the color.
